God means everything He says about His Kingdom. The Kingdom is the only place to be. Anyone who is not found in that Kingdom is in a bad place.
Matthew 6:2
When we talk about a Kingdom, we think of territories but God is not bound by space or territory. The plan and purpose of God is not for a few men to do His will. Prior to the coming of Christ, there had been records of men who did the Will of God but at the coming of Christ, He affirmed His mission to do the will of God and finish it. God is not a m
yopic God; as such, He is not okay with just a few men. Rather, He wants all men to do His will.
When the Kingdom comes into operation, i
t can only be hidden for a while because it is like a yeast that is added to dough. Gradually, its effect will reach the whole dough. In like manner, the intention of God is that the frontier of the kingdom reaches the whole continents of the world. Just as the will of God is being done in heaven, God desires that His will be do
ne everywhere on earth.
Romans 8:22 expresses God’s desire to pull creation to Himself. Further in Matthew 16:28, it is revealed that wherever the will of God is being done, the kingdom of God is there. Also in Matthew 17, a prototype of God’s kingdom was revealed to the disciples on the mount.
Matthew 11:13
What does Moses represent in the agenda of God and its relevance to us? Moses, just like John, had a very important role in the agenda of God for man. He was the first man through whom the ordered instructions of God were first downloaded. He taught the people the mental instructions of God. He personified the law.
The issue of doctrine is very important, even in the New Testament Church. Our mental capacity needs to be locked up into God. The law is meant to change our mental capac
ity. God documented it Himself thereby making it safe for our consumption.
There is a way things are done in the Kingdom; this is a template for the Church today. We need to teach correct doctrine; we can’t afford to be ignorant
Christians. Hence, the need to be r
ooted in the ordered instruction of God. We need to be properly schooled by the Spirit for the kingdom of God to come.
