Text: 2 Chronicles 16:7-9
Minister: Pastor Seyi Osanyinbi
Asa conquered the armies who rose to fight against him because he trusted solely in God for help but when he chose to rely on his power, he got conquered by the enemy. There is no battle too great to be conquered when you trust in God for help. God is always on the lookout for people whose hearts are on Him; He always proves Himself strong to them. There will be trouble but you must learn to always trust God for help. Each time you choose not to focus on God for help, you act foolishly.
From Matthew 21:19-21, we must learn how to respond to situations and circumstances rightly and not be controlled nor bullied by ugly situations. From that portion of scriptures, we see the manifestation of the word spoken by Christ. We must also learn to stop speaking vain words and mean every word that proceeds out of our mouths.
We must make sure not to doubt because it stays the hands of God in our lives. When you realise you have doubts in your heart, you need to be intentional in dealing with them by being open to God and crying to Him for help to overcome. Hence, when we pray or trust God for a thing, we must be resolute about having a positive result no matter the prevailing circumstance(s).
Do not forget that mountains are moved through command not by petition; you speak specific words of commands to your challenges. Additionally, songs help in building our faith, therefore, we should learn to sing songs in our low moments.
