Beauty is in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Womanhood depicts maturity. Esther happened to be a niece to Mordecai. There came a time of reckoning for Esther when the king had need for a new wife. Starting from her presentation to Hegai the Eunuch, Esther obtained favour. Anyone in God’s camp is favoured as a matter of course.
Just like Esther went through the period of purification before he could be presented to the king, the beauty of womanhood cannot be seen unless a woman has subjected herself to the processes of God.
Hegai was a kind of the Holy Spirit because he knew what the king wanted and he was able to put Esther through until she was accepted by the king. We need the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit in order to be acceptable to the father.
A woman is a key to the success or failure of the family. A wise woman builds her home but a foolish woman pulls it down. Esther used the resources Hegai made available to her to make herself acceptable to the King.
Every woman needs to capitalize on the help of the Holy Spirit to prepare themselves for the palaces God has provided for them. That preparation requires a lot of conscious effort.
Anna the Prophetess prayed and waited earnestly for the coming of Jesus. She was a woman of purpose who knew exactly what she wanted and she would not die until she got it (Luke 2:36).
There were many women who rose up to assist Paul the Apostle in her ministry. They played their parts to ensure that Paul had a successful and fruitful service unto the Lord. Such women included Phoebe, Priscilla and a host of others (Romans 16).
Every woman needs to express the beauty of womanhood by leaving childish things and coming into perfection. All we do should bring glory and honour to the Lord. No life is beautiful without discipline. A woman cannot express true beauty if her life is disorderly.
As a woman, it is possible to have been lured, abused and molested in the past. However, God is a healer who can pick you up, wash you and present you faultless to Himself. There is no point being held up in the past when God is willing to give you a new lease of life.
