REV BUSUYI OLABODE
The lord is placing a demand upon us that will make us not able to do things the way we have always been doing them. It is not a sin to be a child. There is no time where they wouldn’t be babes in the body after new birth. The process of growing into Maturity is of different time allocation for each person. That is the time for proper evolution.

Ephesians 4:14
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”
This is addressing the church as an individual and corporate body, that the church must not be allowed to be a child for too long. The reason is so that we would not be tossed to and fro and deceived. We must grow into becoming mature having the stature of Christ, who actually is the Head of the Church.
We, as both individuals and a corporate body, must advance from babyhood. Apart from a believer who needs to grow into maturity, the church needs to do the same also.
Everyone is an essential part of the Church; only one person cannot handle the issues of life from God, it will take the body all together.
God always has witnesses in every generation that bear his words and burdens. He is simply waiting for a time when the Church will be ready. The intention of Jesus is not for a single man only to come into stature. You cannot have utterances from God without an audience that is ready. The audience must grow first so that the church would be ready to receive what He is about to do. The Lord has to prepare the hearts of people before He can bring some things to them so that we would not be tossed to and fro. God’s word has to be incubated to produce results in our lives.
[biblegateway passage=”Matthew 19:16-23″ display=”Matthew 19:16-23″];
Matthew 19:17
“And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Romans 10:4
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
The keeping of the commandments ushers us into a kind of life. Since scripture says that “the end of the Law is Christ”, it should have been very easy for the Israelites to have found it so easy to enter Christ.
The Law came from the Heavenly; the Law was given to Moses. The instructions therein was given to the children of Israel. The Law is Spiritual. If you are carnal, you cannot know the Law.
To get into perfection, we have to see, enter and inherit life. What you cannot see, you cannot enter. What you cannot enter, you cannot inherit. We have to be perfect, mature, complete and come of age. We can be perfect and not complete.
[biblegateway passage=”Romans 8:8″ display=”Romans 8:8″]
There was nothing for the rich young ruler to hold on to and hang on to; Jesus said he should follow him. There was no curriculum for his following, it required faith. They needed to take away everything he had and follow like Peter and the other eleven.
Jesus did not actually sit down too much to teach His disciples; He did not call the twelve to come and learn from Him but rather to learn of Him. The rich young ruler sincerely desired to receive eternal life that he saw in Jesus.
The realm of perfection is not a realm of definite letter learning. A person growing might not necessarily have many scriptures to quote because utterance is just a part of our Spiritual stature, not the full stature. We are going into a leading and process and things of righteousness are being revealed to our hearts.
People these days get less excited after they give their life to Christ. In some phases of our growth, we would not be able to pin point what exactly is going on inside of us. We must move from the realm of commandments into living by the Spirit.
[biblegateway passage=”John 3:12-17″ display=”John 3:12-17″]
We are a child of God and our new birth is a Spiritual occurrence that has an earthly dimension. Going into perfection is to be able to begin to relate with Jesus words not with our earthly senses. These are the major issues that Jesus is interested in.
We have to first see life (kingdom), enter life and inherit life. What we cannot see, we cannot enter. To enter the life we must be Spiritual. The Apostles worked on the foundations of the Faith.
[biblegateway passage=”Colossians 1:1-9″ display=”Colossians 1:1-9″]
The will is an expression of the Kingdom. The essence of the administration of the Church and all church activities is that Christ be formed in us.
[biblegateway passage=”2 Peter 1:11″ display=”2 Peter 1:11″]
That we are taught and we believe gives us entrance into the Kingdom. When God spoke, things began to happen. We need process and when we are following, we should not go back because we have nothing to look back to.
[biblegateway passage=”Numbers 4:24″ display=”Numbers 4:24″]; [biblegateway passage=”Hebrews 5:11″ display=”Hebrews 5:11″]
Going to perfection is going beyond your head; we have to bypass our heads to follow Jesus. There is nothing like mentoring in the Bible; it is discipleship. It is ‘follow after me’, not ‘learn from me’.
[biblegateway passage=”Hebrews 5:12″ display=”Hebrews 5:12″]
It takes mercy to administer the Word of Righteousness. The word gets administered to us as we follow Men, the Word and the Church. We need to follow men who are following Christ. We follow the Word which is capable of raising us. We have to follow the community of believers so that our perfection journey can be enhanced.
