A FULFILLED CAMPUS LIFE

12th December 2021

FRESHERS’ SUNDAY

Minister: Pastor Emmanuel Dansu

TEXT: PROVERB 2:1-8, PROVERB 13:20
A higher institution is a place of freedom but order is needed for proper guidance. Order is very important and must be given due attention (Proverb 2:1-2).
Wisdom starts the moment you begin to fear the Lord, this same wisdom will lead you to the knowledge you’re so much in search of. It will also keep you far away from distractions and unnecessary stress. The devil is interested in your life because he knows God has a great plan for you. He will suggest many wrong choices to you but wisdom and discretion has been made available to you to guide you.
Your association matters a lot. Bad friends will ruin you and not having good friends will take you no further. One of the most important things to know is that the university is an access point, it connects you to what or who you’re to be. Therefore, you should not look down on anybody you meet or will meet.
Do only things that give God pleasure. You will give God pleasure only if you walk in the right company. In all you do, understand that God’s grace is all that matters. Therefore, never leave God out of what you do.
Learn to live a balanced life. The word of the Lord is complete and real. Do not let the devil cheat you through your foolishness and religious attitude. Find out what God wants you to do and give your best to it.
