No priest just comes out from the blues. Such must be chosen from amongst men and must be a person that knows the mind of the Lord to be able to communicate it with the people.

In the Old Covenant, it was written that they Israel was a chosen and peculiar nation. Likewise, we are also called a chosen generation and peculiar people.

Many of us like to do things that we like regardless of what God’s standpoints are. There are even times where we think that what we are doing is the very best for God, and it isn’t.
Phineas was a man that demonstrated zeal and passion to stand and defend the course of the Lord. As priests, we must be bold and able to condemn unrighteous things. Jesus did something similar in the temple, when he drove away the buyers and sellers therein.

Jesus as an high priest usually has compassion on the ignorant and those that are out of the way. As priests we must also be able to fellowship with one another as brethren and identify with the weaknesses of one another.
Also, as priests of God in this new covenant, God wants to write his laws on our heart and not on the tablets of stones anymore. We should also have this in mind that we have been decked with royalty. We have been elected into a better covenant. The older covenant was not perfect, hence the new Testament.

We need to keep taking in the grace of the Lord, by being bold to always approach the throne of grace.

We also need to take heed unto ourselves and check ourselves out. We should check out what we do say to others and also we must also be disciplined in prayers.
