Diorthosis is an orthopaedic word which relates to straightening out curved bones. As such, in our context, Diorthosis is about reformation. It concerns recovering the lost heritage of the Body of Christ.
Many people have left the word of God and they have instituted for themselves what seems good to them. They have deviated from the Divine Mandate upon their lives and ministries. So, there is a sustained need for reformation and revival. These are only guaranteed when we retrace our steps back to the ever true ancient words. The theme of the Diorthosis Convention 2016 is ‘Going Unto Perfection’.
This is a very rare subject in the Church today mainly because there is a mindset which makes us believe that perfection is impossible. However, there are amply references in Scriptures that help us understand that perfection does not have to be elusive. If God commands us to be perfect, it behooves us to simply take Him at his word and advance accordingly. Brace up for a radicalization that will shake you to the very core of your belief system during this great convocation of people from various backgrounds as we move unto perfection.
The Convention is billed to run from Monday, 14th to Sunday, 20th November 2016 at the PGT Auditorium, PGT Close, Behind Giant IBK Petrol Station, Along FUTA South Gate Road, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.
We expect to be blessed of God through the instrumentality of ministers of God like Pastor Oluwaseyi and Mrs Adebola Osanyinbi (Hosts); Rev. Kole Akinboboye; Rev. Kayode Oyegoke; Pastor Ayo Jeje and a host of others.
Starting from the Diorthosis Convention 2015, there has been a very engaging side attraction for every minister of God in the name of Ministers’ Summit. The Summit is an avenue for ministers across denominations and ministries to disect burning issues in such a way that there will be meaningful direction in their commissions.
Ministers’ Summit 2016 promises to be more engaging as we consider the subject of ‘Raising Sons Unto Perfection’. There will be a number of talking points which will be facilitated by some ministers before they are comprehensively discussed by all ministers in attendance. Just like the Maiden Edition, the Second Edition of the Ministers’ Summit is scheduled to hold as Sunview Hotel, Alagbaka, Akure on Saturday, 19th November 2016 starting from 9.00am.
Overall, we trust God that the Diorthosis Convention and the Ministers’ Summit this year will be reference points for all that will attend.
