Many of God’s promises are frustrated because we do not understand the real enemy we are fighting against. We credit too many things to family and ancestral problems but the members of the household (who is your enemy) that destroys you are those that live within you. If you are able to destroy the one inside, then the one outside does not stand the chance of surviving. Genesis 6:3,5 The problem of man is in the imagination of his heart. Can you do an audit of your imagination? When you are alone, what kind of thought runs through your mind? Your thoughts are what define you, Jeremiah 11:8. The tree of knowledge of good and evil allows you to make decisions on your own as to what is good and acceptable to God without finding out from Him what he terms acceptable.

The difference between man and God are thoughts and ways. Man is evil because his thoughts are evil. We do not think like God and do not follow His ways and so we are called wicked. If you will operate in God’s dimension then you must change your thoughts and your ways. Moses succeeded and was never in problem with God because he understood the ways of God. Romans 1:21– Every time you engage in vain thought (thoughts against God’s), it darkens your heart because you have given attention to the flesh

The real problem of Adam (man) was knowledge and what will save man from this problem is also knowledge. The present problem against this freedom, however, is that man has not reckoned. He has not come to the place of changing his ways and thoughts. Reckoning is coming to that place where you convince yourself that you are no longer a servant to sin. To be dead to sin is to have nothing to do with sin again. It is important to kill the desires that use to wage war within you and when you have killed them, you do not need to go back there again Romans 7:5-6. Wrong behaviours seen with men are because sin was actively engaged in them. Satan does not run sin, sin runs satan. The only way to send sin out of hiding was for Jesus to hang on the tree. Jesus will never have died except sin clothes Him and by taking up sin for mankind on the cross, sin was destroyed. We were delivered from the obligation to serve sin. When Jesus died, we were saved and when He rose He was a new person (the quickening Spirit). When sin impregnates a man, he bears seeds after the flesh, but when the Spirit impregnates a man, he produces seeds after righteous. The seed of a righteous man has a resemblance of Him who rose from the dead. Your walking is a product of your imagination and ways. You must die to sin. You must reckon yourself dead. If it is difficult to do, you can call for help. Provisions have been made for us to walk into perfection, [biblegateway passage=”Romans 6:12-14″ display=”Romans 6:12-14″]. It is your responsibility not to yield your members to sin. There is a regime called grace and that is where we must operate.
