As you go forth this year, there are certain things that you should bear in mind that will make your journey faster and easier. The thought that God is with you can take you going for years. Also, in activating the promises of God for your life, there are certain things that you must understand:
- God is involved and meticulous about your life. He is jealous for you and has been in charge of your life ([biblegateway passage=”Zechariah 1: 14″ display=”Zechariah 1: 14″]).
- The plan and intention of God are to make His dwelling amongst us, so God lives within us ([biblegateway passage=”Psalm 46: 5″ display=”Psalm 46: 5″]).
- Just like Jerusalem, a city recorded to have been destroyed twice, deceived 23 times, captured and recaptured 44 times and attacked about 52 times, the Lord wants you to know that no matter what you go through or whatever comes your way, you are going to survive through them all.
- And as mount Zion abides forever, you will also remain unmoved, staying strong and abiding in the hands of God forever.
- God will not allow the evil ordinances of the wicked to rest upon you so that you will not be tempted to do what you are not supposed to do ([biblegateway passage=”Psalm 125: 3″ display=”Psalm 125: 3″])
- On your path, however, as you go forth this year you must seek to be upright in heart and maintain a good conscience before the Lord. You should also fix your hearts to doing good ([biblegateway passage=”1 John 3:7″ display=”1 John 3:7″]) and move away from those things that can contaminate you. Never turn back to your evil ways.
