But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Showing forth the praises of God is not just about singing songs. It is an higher life that represents the springing forth of the workings of God in our life. God is working in us. Whether visible or not, this is a true saying. Lord, we pray that you will find in us a people that will shew forth your praise that men will see us and give you glory in heaven.

Extraordinary things can also happen in ordinary meetings like this. The important thing is if our hearts are engaging the Lord. However, in meetings like this, there is a tendency for us to become weary at times because we are not seeing things happening to us practically, so we need to be encouraged by one another.

God intends for us to come into the position of being blameless and harmless particularly because we have a role of shinning as lights in the world. We all know that there is so much darkness everywhere, but God wants a people that can stand as light in the midst of the perverseness of the nations.

To be blameless means to be without fault and defect. God does not only want us to be blameless before men, but also to be blameless before Him. God judges this not by looking at our acts, but by looking at our hearts.

Daniel is  an example of someone that was harmless and blameless. As touching his work, no occasion for faults or blame could be raised against him. The only way people could get Daniel to be faulted was through his God. This was the exact reason why God permitted Daniel to be in the scriptures was in order to serve as a pattern. Daniel does not even have access to the ministry of the fullness of the grace of God and yet he walked in this realm of blamelessness. God wants us to be a people without blame because he is concerned about setting us up for influence.

To be harmless means to be pure, unadulterated, innocent, having no capacity or intention to hurt or damage. One of the reasons why God cannot expose us to certain things is because have harmful tendencies in us. God wants us to also be blameless and harmless in our relationships, academics, ministry.

Practically in life, people would hurt us, but being harmless as a response to hurt can only be expressed in Love because Love does not keep record of wrongs. Forgiveness is a part of that kind of life. Many of us needs to also be healed of pains and hurts of the past.

The peak example of innocence and being harmless is the state of an infant. Sincerity is also very key. There is a depth of love God will have to bring us into for us to come into this state.

Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

Prayers for NIGERIA
1. We pray the Lord will judge every lawlessness, wickedness, greediness and injustice in Nigeria
2. We as the Church repent of lawlessness and injustice.
3. Despite the hope draining stories that we hear in Nigeria, we want to see the Lord rise.
4. Lord, let righteousness spring forth in this nation.
5. Lord, help Buhari with wisdom to rule Nigeria.

Prayers for OUR PERSONAL LIFE
1. Lord, let your government be enforced and established in the Church, the body and our individual life

We live in times of great darkness where evil, the whole world lies in wickedness and perverseness. Our commission is light, wherever and whenever.

Daniel was a man in one of the most perverse nations and times in the world and yet he could be found without blame. This does not just come by determination, it takes the grace of the Lord. We are even under a better covenant than the old.

To be blameless and harmless, we cannot afford to be “Ajebutter”. In this race, we must be hard. The Philippi church were born again and saved, but Paul told them to work out their salvation. There are things that we would have to drop some things along the way to become blameless and harmless. Like Daniel, the only thing people should have as blame to us is our relationship with God. (He likes praying too much, He talks about Jesus too much).

Another person found blameless in the scriptures was Zacharias and his wife. In the world of today, we need grace more than ever because everything is designed to make you full of hate. There is always a need for us to be saved to the uttermost to get to a point where God has killed everything in us that still responds to sin. In the process, we need to have self distrust. God wants us to do right, so he puts in us the will and power to do this. Our light can only make sense in darkness.

PRAYERS
1. Lord, everything preventing or slowing God from workings in us, we pray you shut them down.
2. Lord, we receive enough strength and capacity not to obey the impulses of sin.
3. Lord, help us to come to the place of doing all things without murmurings and disputing.
4. Take away from us the capacity for evil doing.

6. Lord, the crookedness and perversion of the world will not swallow up our light.

The secret things belong to God. There are realms beyond our minds and speaking in tongues helps us move into this realm – the realm of the mind of God. Speaking in tongues strengthens us and builds us up. Seriously, there is no better way to pray. Although, there are also times where we need to pray in the understanding.

PROPHESIES

1. The Lord has filled with grace, we should go and flourish.
2. You look very unlikely, very small, but give expressions to the workings of God in your life
3. The church is the answer to recession, the Lord is opening the doors of finance to us.
4. The Lord is calling us into a place of timelessness, where time will not rule us anymore, where we would pray like never before and stay in the closet with him like never before.
5. The Lord is set to do as much as He can do in us, but the only limitation is us. If we set a limit, he would work by our limit.
6. The Lord is bringing men together that will war with Him. The Lord is working on them, they are rising. Men that have faces of lions, they are responding to His call. It is time for them to war. They are being trained to war.
7. The Lord is giving us judgment, authority and light. The light is so heavy, the judgment is so great. He is helping us to walk.
8. I see a light and a new church emerging. The Lord is building His Church.
9. The lord is restoring us sight. The Lord will gather us.
10. Healing is coming unto the house says the Lord.
11. The lord is doing a lot of refining in the house.
